Performance Specs
All models are powered by the same 1.6-litre Xtronic CVT engine, with a torque capacity of 114 lb-ft and 122 horsepower. This SUV delivers a fuel efficiency of 7.7L/100km in the city and 6.6L/100km on highways, with a combined rate of 7.2/100km. The new Kicks is equipped with some handy smart driving technologies, such as intelligent engine brakes, traction control, and active ride control.
Design Features
The new Kicks seats up to five passengers with superb comfort features, like zero gravity seats. Cloth seats are standard all the way up to SR, while the flagship model has Prima-Tex leather-appointed seats. Prima-Tex seats are also optional for the SR. The driver’s seat has six-way manual adjustments across the lineup. Heated front seats are standard for SV and upper models.
The base model has black door handles, while the rest of the lineup comes with body-colour handles. Black front and rear bumpers are standard for models up to the SV Special Edition, but upper models have added body-colour inserts. All models have partial LED rear combination lights.
Technology and Safety
The base model has a 7-inch touchscreen display with Nissan Connect and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The rest of the lineup has a slightly bigger 8-inch touchscreen display but similar infotainment features. Models up to the SR have a standard six-speaker AM/FM audio system. The flagship model has a standard eight-speaker Bose Premium audio system and smartphone connectivity.
You’ll find nearly the same safety features and driving aids across all models. Standard features include lane departure warning, rear sonar, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, blindspot warning, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
