The 2023 Nissan Altima is a redesigned version of the company's midsize sedan. Standard on every 2023 Almita is all-wheel drive and a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine.

What’s New 2023 Altima?

For the 2023 model, Nissan will release a revised version of its Altima midsize sedan. It’ll get a new facelift that includes a sleeker front fascia and improved technology. The exterior of the 2023 Altima has undergone the most significant transformation. At the front, it now has Nissan’s latest V-motion grille and new logo. The front fascia has been redesigned to put more emphasis on the grille, and LED headlights with built-in turn signals have been made standard. So, it receives subtle upgrades that make it look more modern than before.

The Altima offers a larger 31.24cm touchscreen and improved connectivity as part of its upgraded technology on its two upper trims. In 2023, you'll still be able to use wired Android Auto, but Apple CarPlay and wireless charging for mobile devices will be brand new.

Drivetrain

All-wheel drive is standard on all trims, which is powered by a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder that generates 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. Nissan's Xtronic CVT automatic transmission is the sole transmission option.

Interior

Nissan emphasizes quality and a premium feel when discussing the 2023 Altima's cabin, saying that it has upgraded materials and finishes over the outgoing model. Slight adjustments were made to the dashboard in order to house the larger 31.24cm display. The upholstery in SR models also features a dual-stitched design, and there are some minor cosmetic adjustments made to the area above the instrument panel.

Technology

NissanConnect with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, an eight-inch multi-touch display, Bluetooth streaming audio, and a hands-free text messaging assistant are all standard equipment in every Altima.

Safety

The 2023 Nissan Altima also boasts a brand-new suite of optional safety equipment. For this model year, more active safety features are included as standard equipment. These include automatic emergency braking, automatic rear braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and high beam assist. Nissan's ProPILOT Assist is a semi-autonomous driving mode that can be added to the Altima along with adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.

Price & Trims

With its comfortable cabin and sleek exterior, the Nissan Altima 2023 is a great choice for families. For 2023, Nissan offers the Altima in S, SR, SR Premium, and Platinum trims.
