Nissan introduced a new off-roading Rock Creek trim in 2023 for drivers looking for enhanced trail-blazing fun. This trim has distinguishable all-terrain wheels that are 45.72cm in size, unique stitching and badging on the seats, a more powerful engine, and a lowered bumper with a revamped grille. Additionally, the S and SV models get more standard driver safety aids, and the SL trim has added standard wireless mobile phone charging.Engine and Performance
The SUV keeps its V6 3.5L engine with standard FWD from 2022. However, the transmission has changed from CVT to a nine-speed automatic with a maximum power output of 259 lb-ft of torque and 284 hp. You can expect to get approximately 11.6L/100km in the city, 9.2L/100km on the highway, and 10.5L/100km combined. The Rock Creek trim has slightly more power at 295 hp.All trims can be upgraded to AWD, which gives you seven added drive modes that will give you more grip in muddy and sand conditions. Under test conditions, the AWD configuration raced to 100km/h in 6.6 seconds, and the FWD was one second faster. It must also be mentioned that the cabin is extremely quiet, and the ride is exceptionally smooth when you use cruise mode.
The Pathfinder S trim can haul a maximum weight of 1587.57kg. However, if you upgrade to the SV or upper trims, you’ll get all the necessary equipment to tow up to 2721.55kg. Trailer sway control is standard across all models. With the 70-litre fuel tank, you’ll get an estimated 231.33km.
