2020 Nissan Titan | Price, Performance and Features

The new 2020 Nissan Titan builds upon the impressive performance put in by the previous model, which was named as Best Large Light Duty Pickup of 2019 by J.D. Power. The 2020 model keeps that quality and reliability but adds in a new bolder, more refined design and more standard safety features. Rugged yet dependable, tough yet comfortable, the 2020 Nissan Titan seems to contradict itself, but it does so in all the right ways.

Variety of Models and Features

The Nissan Titan is a world-class truck from a world-class manufacturer and offers six different models to customize to your specific wants and needs. The Titan starts at $47,198 with 400 horsepower and 15.2/11.1 city/hwy L/100km fuel mileage for the S 4x4 models. From there, the Titan models include the SV ($51,998), SV Midnight Edition ($59,498), PRO-4X ($59,998), SL Midnight Edition ($64,798), and Platinum Reserve ($69,998). As you move through the various model versions, you get more features for your money.

The S and SV versions include four doors, six seats, and a 5.6-litre 32-valve Endurance V8 gas engine with 9-speed automatic transmission. Beginning with the SV Midnight Edition, the 2020 Nissan Titan loses the front bench seat in favor of captain's chairs, becoming a five-passenger truck. From there, the PRO-4X adds in a premium 12 speaker audio system and more handling capabilities with Bilstein off-road shock absorbers and electronic locking rear differential. These two items allow you to tackle the toughest terrain with outstanding handling and a comfortable ride. The SL Midnight Edition and Platinum Reserve focus on interior comfort with leather seats, remote start, and memory seats, mirrors and steering wheel, and the top safety features.

Exceptional Performance

The 2020 Nissan Titan enhanced its performance by upgrading from a 7-speed automatic transmission in 2019 to a 9-speed in 2020. With the upgrades, the Titan now features 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, as well as improved acceleration and fuel efficiency. Those are the improvements under the hood, but the exterior was redesigned as well with a commanding black grille with black accents and badging. With a bold exterior and proven engine, the 2020 Nissan Titan is unstoppable.

Interior

The interior isn't too shabby either, featuring premium materials, quality stitching, and an easy-to-use interface that will keep you focused on the road in front of you. The cabin provides comfort as well as durability to handle anything that you might bring inside. For 2020, the Titan comes standard with more safety features than ever before. High beam assist, lane departure warning, intelligence emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and blind spot warning are just a few of the systems implemented to help improve your safety while driving and the safety of others, whether they are in cars or not.

The Nissan Titan was already a truck to be reckoned with, but the 2020 model takes things to the next level. With enhancements to all parts of the vehicle--inside, outside, and under the hood--it is hard to call the Titan just a truck. It is a force of nature.
