Good things come in small packages, and that is definitely true with the aptly named 2020 Nissan Micra. This micro-car has an impressive 4.6-metre turning radius, allowing drivers to zip through traffic and park in cramped conditions while still providing room for five passengers. The 2020 Nissan Micra is a great car for zipping around in cities like Calgary. In fact, it was voted a 2019 Best Buy in the City Car by The Car Guide.
Price
The 2020 Nissan Maxima comes in three model versions: S, SV, and SR. The introductory model, the S, starts at an astounding $10,488 considering that the average transaction price of a new vehicle is approximately $35,000 in Canada. The $10,488 price tag will get drivers a five-speed manual transmission, AM/FM audio system, and a RearView monitor for parking ease. However, many comfort and convenience features are sacrificed to get the price so low--air conditioning, power doors and windows, cruise control, and more are not found on the S model.
The price rises to $14,298 for the S model with a four-speed automatic transmission. The SV and SR models come standard with automatic transmission and are priced at $15,598 and $17,598, respectively, to start.
Safety
Many safety and driver-assistance features that are present on other Nissan models are not offered on the Micra because of its size and low price. Instead of the high-tech systems many vehicles include today, the 2020 Nissan Micra comes with typical safety features such as front and side airbags, traction control system, crumple zones, and more.

All models of the 2020 Nissan Micra are built with a 1.6-litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. The car is front-wheel drive (FWD) and produces 109 horsepower. It really shines in efficiency thanks to its size, offering a fuel economy of 8.7 L/100km in the city and 6.8 L/100km on the highway.

The 2020 Nissan Micra is a stripped-down version of most cars, thanks to its lack of air conditioning, power doors and windows, automatic transmission, and more on the lowest-priced S version. However, the SV and SR models offer more comfort and convenience features to make it more palatable. For the extra cost, the SV and SR models introduce cruise control, power windows and door locks, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
Performance
The Nissan Micra is not built for speed or performance; instead, the Micra focuses on fuel economy and transportation. However, that does not mean that it is not fun to drive. The engine is zippy, moving the Micra along quite nicely and providing all the performance necessary for city driving. The Micra also provides a relatively comfortable and quiet ride on the highway as well.
